FREDERICKSBURG, VA – On January 21, 2020, the Vascular Institute of Virginia celebrates
the one-year anniversary of the opening of their second location in Fredericksburg’s Central
Park. The Vascular Institute of Virginia is an accredited outpatient medical clinic, specializing in
treating vascular conditions like varicose veins, peripheral arterial disease, dialysis access, and
more.
In 2011 when the first location of the Vascular Institute of Virginia opened in Woodbridge, its
vision was to provide outstanding vascular care in an outpatient setting. Through the years, the
Vascular Institute of Virginia has added physicians, staff members, broadened the scope of
services provided, while working to continuously improve care for patients. About the expansion
into Fredericksburg, Dr. Shah says, “We had patients driving up I-95 on a daily basis to receive
