Dr. Kevin Lurie is a Vascular & Interventional Surgeon at the Vascular Institute of Virginia. Dr. Lurie specializes in vascular access creation and procedures for End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), and diagnosis and intervention for Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD).

Dr. Lurie completed undergraduate and medical school education at the University of Pennsylvania. After earning his medical degree, Dr. Lurie completed his surgical residency at the University of Pennsylvania and Sinai Hospital of Detroit. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Lurie worked as a staff surgeon for a large multispecialty group from 1988 to 2005. He received their highest clinical patient care awards and led clinical research projects until 2005. In 2005, Dr. Lurie founded Lurie Surgical services to offer high quality, compassionate care to local area patients. He services on the Cancer Committee at Holy Cross Hospital and actively teaches surgical trainees from George Washington University. Dr. Lurie also sits on the Hospital and Personal Use Devices Advisory Panel at the US FDA.
