Dr. M. Salman Singapuri, MD, FACP, FASN, FASDIN, "Dr. Sal" is a distinguished nephrologist with extensive experience in general and interventional nephrology. Dr. Singapuri completed his Internal Medicine residency at Orlando Regional Healthcare. He then served as Chief Medical Resident at the University of Alabama, followed by a Nephrology Fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. Over the years, he has served in various academic and clinical roles, including Assistant Professor of Medicine at Emory University and Medical Director and Interventional Nephrologist at Preferred Vascular Group in Macon, Georgia.
His contributions extend to numerous research studies and publications, such as investigating high-dose vitamin D effects on arteriovenous fistula maturation and addressing high-output heart failure in ESRD patients. He has also presented his findings at national conferences, has written a book chapter and authored many peer-reviewed publications, showcasing his dedication to advancing nephrology practices.
Dr. Sal combines clinical excellence with leadership acumen. He also continues to provide care in general nephrology at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center and Harbin Clinic. His medical journey reflects a commitment to advancing patient outcomes, particularly in managing complex vascular conditions and chronic kidney disease.
In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Dr. Singapuri actively participates in professional organizations, holding fellowships in the American Society of Nephrology, the American College of Physicians, and the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology.
