Alexander Kieger, M.D.
Dr. Alexander Kieger completed subspecialty training in Vascular and lnterventional Radiology at Chicago’s Northwestern University/McGaw Medical Center in 2018. This is the same institution where, from 2008-2013, he graduated medical school and trained as a General Surgery intern. Dr. Kieger’s connection to the D.C. Maryland-Virginia area was made through his Diagnostic Radiology residency training at Johns Hopkins, where he served on the residency selection committee and graduated with distinction in innovation.
Dr. Kieger has received awards for clinical research and has presented at numerous national meetings. He developed software tools enabling improved monitoring of vascular devices and diseases, and investigated Botox as an emerging treatment for women with chronic pelvic pain.
Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Kieger enjoys traveling and exploring the outdoors with his girlfriend and their dog Olivia.
